Working to expand apprenticeship programs nationwide
The U.S. Department of Labor has awarded Working for America Institute (WAI) a $1.37 million contract to expand multi-employer apprenticeship programs in two important sectors – manufacturing and hospitality.
The Los Angeles Hospitality Training Academy (HTA) recently launched its Culinary Apprenticeship Program, an intense five week program where 22 students receive accelerated training on how to become a line cook.
